Does any one have any information on this mine?
Came across the engine shaft for the first time about 12 months ago and can find very little info on it.

Is there a survey for it?

There's a lot of historical information, particularly about the dispute with Miner's Engine in the 18th century - see the various articles Nellie Kirkham wrote on the Eyam Edge mines and Jim's book for starters. As for the workings, I understand the engine shaft is blocked about 120' down; there may have been old man broken into from Ladywash but I couldn't say for certain.

Thanks for that.
The engine shaft Is indeed blocked at about that depth.
Not a lot to see in there but would it be worth a dig?

That I don't know, I'm afraid - offhand I can't think of any contemporary plans of the workings. John Beck and Doug Nash might have known, but sadly they're both no longer around to ask.Sad

This is not my area so I cannot be of much help. However, there was an abandonment plan deposited in the Mining Record Office in c.1861 but this, along with many other plans, has apparently been hopelessly lost. The listing of it can be read at:
https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=TvM9AAAAcAAJ&pg=PA141&dq=%22little+pasture%22+derbyshire&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjM653uqOfdAhUqIcAKHdtNBuQ4ChDoAQguMAI#v=onepage&q=%22little%20pasture%22%20derbyshire&f=false

Apart from plans in the DRO, the British Geological Survey website lists:
http://www.bgs.ac.uk/data/miningPlans/plans.cfc?method=listResults&mineName=Little+Pasture&county=13688&mineral=&planType=&pageSize=20

Further to my earlier posting, I would have thought that in such cases, it is worth contacting Jim Rieuwerts. He happened to phone me up last night for a long chat about mining and I mentioned this topic to him. He has seen an old section of the Little Pasture workings.

No one has ever had such a wide ranging knowledge of Derbyshire lead mining as Jim and he is a very friendly and helpful gentleman - but he does not do the Internet.

I should point out that the Little Pasture site is now a scheduled monument, which means that carrying out any sort of works on it without getting monument consent via Historic England is a criminal offence!
