Just uploaded the updated version of my chronology of Llechwedd and its associated people. Llechwedd only gets started on page 3!
Enjoy!

Wow! Excellent! Very thorough, must have taken you hours and hours of research.

One question though, what do the different colours mean please?

Graham

Well done, will let you have my full comments in due course but unfortunately it is already out of date since on Monday 6th November 2017 we removed the underground manrider for refurbishment! Going back in at the end of January 2018.

Inevitably it will always be out of date if people keep changing things LaughLaugh And finding new things out, of course.

The colours were meant to be a simple way of identifying the various "families" involved in the history - The Parrys, Haygarths, Greaves's, Sheld/t/i/ons (I suspect I may not have been consistenT in my spelling - sources aren't either), Wynne's (Newborough) and others.

I was also trying to relate the events in the various quarries as it is something that tends to get lost when "doing" just one.

It needs more looking at because the treatment of the entries is not consistent either. There's a lot more on Votty which I've omitted, and of course Oakeley and Cwmorthin don't get a real look in - it would become I suspect hopelessly jumbled if they were included.
