Another photo request I'm afraid ...

This time I'm looking for a photograph of a Oldham caplamp and battery, again to illustrate the paper by the late Christopher Williams that I'm working on.

It needs to be the older type of caplamp and battery, i.e. lamp with a black bezel and with the wire belt loops on the battery case.

I would like a photo of the caplamp and battery as a display item (I've got photos of them in use).

Hi Dave
Found it! knew I'd got one somewhere - should of looked on the charging rack first, Doh Big Grin
Anyway it's an Oldham GT with the big krypton bulb & black bezel. Old flat top battery cover & wire belt clip, it's got an Exide Triclad battery on it though. (the one that looks like an Oldham R-Type)
If that will do, I'll give it a wipe over & take a snap tomorrow in daylight.

You're more than welcome Dave.

This forum is a great place for mutual help & co-operation. It is mercifully short of the sort of rancour and ill feeling that be-devils so many other sites. Long may it continue so!

Looking forward to seeing the finished paper.
