Somerset (Coal / Copper / Iron / Lead / Ochre)

A diversity of mines exists in Somerset. Significant iron mines were worked inthe Brendon Hills, lead and ochre were worked in the Mendip Hills, coal was worked around Bristol and Radstock, copper was worked in small amounts. at various locations.
