Welcome to our latest member, C A Bennett.
This page hopes to give some introduction to this web site and answer some frequently asked questions about why it is exists and how you can contribute.
I started this web site back in 2005 as a photo archive of the underground photographs of myself and a number of friends. It quickly expanded and over time a database of mines was added.
The biggest update to the site occurred at the end of 2006 when the site was opened up to other explorers to contribute; adding mines to the database and uploading photographs and documents.
At all times additions to the site have been lead by demand from users, and I try to keep the site both reactive to new suggestions and proactive in adding innovative new features.
