The Wheal Sisters group of mines were some of the biggest ore producers in the area mining Tin and Copper over the period of 1825 to 1900. A substantially complete engine house stands at SW513367. In the Wheal Kitty section of the sett at SW506362 stands a further engine house but in a very dilapidated condition near the farm.
Reported Output is 12,950T tin and 10,700T of copper.
