Waun Fawr Colliery Coal Mine (United Kingdom)
Small-scale coal-mining in Waun Fawr dates back to the 1670s, however the colliery of this name started around 1796 as a single winding shaft working. It was later absorbed into Risca black vein Colliery in 1841 becoming known as Old Ventilator Shaft.
