Murton Lead Mine (United Kingdom)

A group of mines on the NW side of the Scordale Beck, they connect through to meet the White Mines in neighbouring Gasdale. The land on which they are situated now form part of the danger area for the Warcop Firing Ranges and so access to the ground is limited and underground access is prohibited completely. The army blocked the adits when they took over the property.
