An ancient watercourse that still issues ocherous water. It drained/drains coal and ironstone adits (working c1550s - 1680s) on the Jackfield/Ladywood side of the River Severn. The sites of these adits have been obliterated by 19th Century mining, industrial developments, and construction of the Severn Valley railway.
[Note: This seems to have been purely a drainage level and not used as a production level - so the mineral should be water!]
