Holywell New Limestone Quarry (United Kingdom)

Holywell Quarry was also known as 'New Quarry' and in 1947 was owned by G.A.Medwell & Son. Most of the Clipsham stone used in Oxford during the mid 20th century came from this quarry. Current quarry operator: Rattee & Kett.
