Hendre Spar Calcite Mine (United Kingdom)

A small calcite mine, has to be said though that the upper stopes are somewhat impressive in size, has a very steep declinded adit, now flooded some 100 foot from portal. Last worked 1981. Lower adit now blasted, although upper stopes still accessable from climbing shaft.
