Halesfield (Madeley Wood) Coal Colliery (United Kingdom)
Sunk in the late 1830s by the Madeley Wood Company, it worked coal and ironstone. By 1900 it was worked in conjunction with the nearby Kemberton Colliery. Upon Nationalisation in 1947 Halesfield was merged with Kemberton to form the NCB's Madeley Wood Colliery. It closed in 1967 and the pithead demolished 1968.
