Pont Cyfyng 1986: Close by Pont Cyfyng on the Afon Lledr was once the Pont Cyfyng Mill, which belonged to the Foel Slate Quarry, just below Moel Siabod. On some maps the quarry was called the Moel Siabod Slate and Slab Quarry. The site of the mill was partially uncovered and surveyed by the Plas TanyBwlch Summer IA Course in 1986.
