Dwr Oer Slate Quarry (United Kingdom)

A company set up by the Evans brothers, Blaenau Ffestiniog in approx. 1946 to work the slate tip at 'Nant Dwr Oer'. Producing dampcourse and roofing slates, building slabs and road fill etc. using modern type machinery for its day. Ceased full time working approx 1977. Site was sold to Llechwedd (Greaves)in approx 1985.
