Cockwell (Cockwell and Overton) Lead Mine (United Kingdom)

In 1772 this mine was re-opened after a period of failure. Great effort was expended in making the mine a success including a new waterwheel pump.
By 1778 Cockwell and the local Overton mines had merged. This venture ultimately failed by 1788.
