Burlington (Kirkby Moor Quarry) Slate Mine (United Kingdom)

A large slate quarry near Kirkby-in-Furness. Most of the underground workings have probably been quarried away, or run-in; although a few can still be seen. The underground areas appear to be on the side of the working part of the quarry, and access could only be by asking Burlington Stone.
