Birch Aller (Birch, Birch Ellers) Lead Mine (United Kingdom)

Description by ICLOK

Small Lead Silver mine in Teign Valley. Sett included Wheal Ann. The mine was known to have been operating between 1850-1855 but no output figures are recorded though lead ore is thought to have been raised. A 30" pumping engine was at work there in 1853.
