Bagalow Slate Quarry (United Kingdom)

Small pre-1880 coastal slate quarry, developed from cliff top to sea level. Parish History by Revd. Canner (1982) suggests it was started by Mr. Jeffrays in 1834. Details of surviving features listed in “Coastal Slate Quarries – Tintagel to Trebarwith” (1990)Adam Sharpe, CAU archaeological survey for the National Trust. ISBN 1 871162 95 5
