In the early 1860's, Carnyorth (SW373/333) was added to the Botallack (SW363/336) sett. For a short time both mines were called -Botallack & Carnyorth United.
Working in 1870 under the name Botallack and Carnyorth United with the following information;
200 shares;
Produce Tin and Copper;
Purser and Manager, S.H.James, St.Just;
Agents, H.Boyns ,J.Rowe, and J. Boyns;
Accountant, S.H.James Junior;
Payday, first Saturday in the month;
240 Fathoms deep;
530 persons employed.
