Full Review

The 7dayshop.com battery tester is a pretty simple bit of kit: it has a swinging arm which will accept AAA, AA, C & D cell batteries while a pair of terminals on the side will accept a 9v PP3 battery.

The gauge is a pretty simple affair, with a green section for good, a small yellow section for low and a red section for replace or recharger.

In use, it's a pretty simple device: put the battery in and readthe gauge. It's not going to tell you how much life is remaining, but you can at least sort used batteries from new ones - exactly the purpose I bought it for.

For £1.49, you can't complain. Yes, it's basic, but it does what it's meant to, without fuss.
