MBE for Industrial Archaeologist Peter Geddes

Industrial archaeologist Peter Geddes receives an MBE in recognition of 25 years' work in local history projects.

One of his proudest achievements was overseeing the Snaefell Wheel project which was completed in 2006.

Congrats great to see someone that really deserves an MBE getting one.
It puzzles me how some people get to have an MBE. For example what the hec did that Simon Rushdie do to deserve an MBE last year??? And that is just one of them.
