Hi & welcome to the forum. I've put a couple of pics in my album of a 1970's Holman air compressor, which I bought for scrap price & got up & running. Not mining related but might be of interest, built at a time when this country was still great & knew how to build things to last Sad .........mini moan over Big Grin

cheers sinker, I would be very interested to know if there is another Eimco 824 in fully working condition anywhere in the UK, or even Europe! I reckon not that many of them were made,

if you're down in Cornwall at the start of easter it might be a possibility, not run very often that one

tis a cracking little compressor that, we have a 700cfm one that provides air for the whole mine. they're great mechanically but our cabinet is shot as well, well it is 30 years old!

the avatar is good just a shame theres a 100 x 100 pixel limit, cant really see whats going on in the picture at this size
