Does anyone know where I can buy a qick release converter for a standard photo tripod.
Years ago you could buy these to covert a old screw fit pod to a QR. One bit went on the camera and the other bit screwed onto the pod. I've searched high and low and am now at the spitting feathers stage Cursing
I dont want to spend stupid money on another pod when the one I have is good to go and up to the job.

Jessops do a cheap and cheerful one also:

Possible to strip it down for cleaning and doesn't seem to have corroded at all.

On a related note, my large collection of 'camera tat' contains a Velbon QB-5LC Quick Release Plate for CX580, 530, 540, 640, 680 Tripods.

Free to a good home if anyone has one of those.
