Petzl upgrade?
Posted: 11/04/2011 11:03:48 Reply | Quote I have an old (1998) Petzl mega with the belt mounted battery pack (4.5v, AA or C type batteries) which has always worked well. My lad uses it these days and was wondering if anyone has tried any of the replacement "LED bulb upgrades" that are available for them? I wouldn't expect them to be as good as a top quality LED lamp but for what he needs for now, and for £20, is it worth a punt? Or a waste of time??! I guess it's as much down to the reflector as the bulb....? Please advise!  -- Give yerselves up lads.....you're surrounded..... |
