For anyone that may be interested in a walk out on a Sunday to view Lakeland / Pennine mining locations – try one of Ian Tyler of the Keswick Mining Museum – guided walks. All walks are guided by Ian Tyler, mine historian and author of 11 books on Cumbrian Mining and curator of the Keswick Mining Museum.

Come and experience a really good day out in the fells and learn something about the industrial past of Lakeland and the Pennines, its not always been fluffy bunnies, Wainwright & pencils.

All walks start at 10.30 am prompt. Decent footwear must be worn and don't forget the waterproofs in case, and a packed lunch is a must. Most walks are at least 5 hours duration and are not suitable for the unfit or children.

Cost is £6.00 per person
