Pentax weather seals are the best you can get in a modern DSLR.

Before

What sort of wide-angle lens can you get for that - that's weatherproofed to heck?

I'm a little reticent about using my Sigma 10-20mm underground...

Best bet is not to get your camera so dirty in the first instance.

If I'm going into a dirty mine I'll use the sealed lens but if it's a clean mine 10-20 is a goer. The lens you see is the Pentax 18-55 weather sealed.

Some times you just have to get down and dirty.
