PC for preference, cheap preferred. Nothing flash, just need facility to select bits of clips, splice them together and some really basic effects such as fade transition and perhaps a caption or two The results will be terrible but I may as well give it a go IP: 83.148.135.213

Corel, not sure how much it costs but its a few tricks above Movie maker but it isnt half memory hungry, it always grinds my pc to a halt after a few edits. Try downloading WMM 2.6 which was designed to work with later versions of Vista... it also works on Windows 7 as I can testify having made 3 movies since I got my new lap top 2 weeks ago.
