Hi all,

I need a set of symbols for adding to maps to show adits, shafts, drifts and the like in Word documents and Photoshop CS or Elements.

Anyone out there know where I can get my hands on these as a font set for use on a Windows PC?

Preferably free, of course Smile

Cheers

There are a range of suitable fonts (as pictures) in MapInfo such as Mapinfo Cartographic, MapInfo Symbols etc etc.

These have all the standard mine norms such as shaft, abandoned shaft, adit, blocked adit as well as the usual crossed hammers, crossed hammer and spade for alluvials etc etc.

I've got a few, msot of them are american in origine and don't give much of any use

this is the best possibly:

I use adobe illustrator for drawing things and it makes creating your own permanent symbol libraries and absolute doddle
