There are the remains of a 50" engine house, ruined winder/crushing house, rems dressing floors, arsenic works and a rather nice stamps engine house with boiler/aux equipt house attached. The counthouse survives as does some remains of the dry..... fabulous valley with sound views over to Rumleigh brickworks and Gawton mine... Serene place and worth going for wildlife.... saw plenty of kingfishers on last trip and even Oyster catchers!

I just get a bit jaded with answering queries from people either in posts or pm's who then disappear like smoke and don't even acknowledge your reply.... I just think its bad manners! Sad

EDIT... I even set up one person with good mapping just for them to put their pics on ME....

Hmm. Not sure if you left it long enough allowing for some people not necessarily being able to get online 24/7 like me or you... However, sometimes if you want to elicit a response and get a dialogue going, it can pay to simply reply to a question with another question, like "Hi there, what sort of thing are you interested in seeing?" - maybe a bit lame in this case, but it saves a long-winded reply that might never be acknowledged.

Your case is quite a reasonable one Peter. But it must be a bit galling to research for someone and then have the results posted on another web site. I have seen this happen more than once.
