Vanoord's surface wanderings

18/07/2007

An evening trip on 18th July to Dinorwig to try out a new camera. I arrived an hour or so too late and spent a while climbing upwards trying to chase the remaining sunlight up the hill. A few shots after sunset preceded the interesting task of coming back down in the dark.

Additional pics added - taken on 22nd August after an evening climbing: I found myself with a fabulous sunset behind a drumhouse - and, thankfully, a camera.

Add to Favourites Coats: The classic picture of Dinorwig. Presumably these coats have been here since 1969 when the quarry closed and they remain here, despite virtually every suare inch of the wall being covered with graffiti. (Dinorwig-18-07-2007-Image-007)
