Croesor Chamber A17E and A18E: Bridge supports still extant, looking across the Chamber of Horrors, more accurately described as Croesor chambers A17E and A18E. The partially worked away wall separating the chambers (onto which I presume the bridge would have rested) is visible in the right of the photograph. The first half of this bridge is crossed on a single rail (until recently it was two rails) whilst clipped to a safety line to the central support. The second half is crossed using a pulley. This route is a deviation to the original Croesor Rhosydd through trip after a fall took out the original connection between A2E and A3E.
